I thought this was worth the license fee on it's own. I really enjoyed it, even my daughter ( 16 ) engaged with it. Wonderful filming.

| Clare never miss it, fascinating to watch and Mr Attenborough never fails to educate us in animal behavior.

Oh bother - forgot to record this, hopefully either it will be repeated or I can get hold of it electronically. However, driving home from cruise - what a smashing reason to miss it!

| Emma: Glad you enjoyed the cruise. Life is repeated on Sundays at teatime on BBCl. It has been fantastic so far and I expect it will carry on being the same quality. Mavis x

Believe it or not, David Attenborough is under-rated. While his wildlife programmes are incredible - and my daughter (23) lives in perpetual fear of the void when he does eventually die - it is easy to forget his contributions to radio (especially in the fifties), to archeology, anthropology, ....

I watched it last Sunday on the BBC HD Channel....It was absolutley brilliant and I don't particullaly like wild life programmes but I couldn't take my eye off this one.
