| Hi, We flew back from Barbados last year with Thomson Fly and didn't expect to get a seat for our 12 month old - on booking the holiday we were told under 2s are not allocated a seat. However we were pleasantly surprised to find when collecting our flight passes that our daughter was allocated one. As already stated, we had to have her strapped to our laps on take off and landing, however as it was an overnight flight we managed to slightly lay her back in her own seat during flight, and make a sort of bed for her with the straps securely fixed around her and she slept most of the way (thankfully!)

| We have contacted P & O once again, again they are saying that my baby son will have a seat, this only applies to CHARTER flights, the normal Aviation rules do not apply. He also has his own baggage allowance. So in a nut shell, P & O have now told us three times that he will get a seat, so I would say its looking likely, and all replys from people who have travelled with an infant have had the same. thanks all for comments

| That is great news & your question will help others in the future ...I think the Charter thing is the key. I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy a seat for an infant than pay excess baggage??
