I think there were a few minor hiccups at the beginning but from what I have seen on the Message boards things have been amended and the latest reports appear to say all is fine and the Ventura fast becoming a very popular ship so I would not worry and am sure you will have a super cruise on 19 Dec.  Go well and enjoy.

Unfortunately we went on Ventura in her maiden year and would not return. I have seen mixed reviews over the past 6 months or so.

I would suggest the best place for impartial, unbiased reviews then I would suggest visiting www.cruise.co.uk

I hope you have a fantastic holiday.

I really think it takes a good 12/18 months for the ships to settle down.  I have read lots of good reports from Ventura lately.  She is a lovely ship, but personally for me, she's just that little bit too big.  Arcadia is about as big as I like!

LB....I was on Ventura in April and had a fantastic cruise.......Apparently there were problems with her during the first few cruises but these seem to have been sorted now.

Paul, gald to hear it, I would still advise that if a poster seeks a selection of impartial reviews then I don't think they will find that here, they probably need to look elsewhere.

LB....Agree, I was just trying to balance out your negative post about Ventura. I don't know what your experience was on Ventura to be so anti her but in my opinion the chances are that those problems have now been sorted.
