Recorded delivery is surely only really effective if it is addressed to a named Manager ?

Apart from the MD who else is there, do we have a ' Management Tree ' for P&O anywhere ?

Hi MoB - I certainly do not agree that it is beginners luck; and in reply to another response on this thread: no matter which department I have contacted through email in P and O, I have never had to wait more than a day for a prompt and helpful response.

When I asked one specific question which was going to take a little while to answer, I did actually receive an email thanking me for my contact and confirming that the item was being dealt with.

I know the content of my emails to P and O, but I am obviously not privvy to the content of emails sent by other people; hence I can't ascertain why I get replies without any problem and other people have problems.

I most certainly have no complaints.

Cheers.

Perhaps you could post the e mail addresses for all the relevant departments that were so quick in replying.

It would be a help to us lesser mortals awaiting any response at all.

Thank you, in anticipation.

If you get no reply from an email within a reasonable time then my advice is recorded delivery to the MD

Hi WH - I hope you won't be bored whilst waiting in anticipation, but if you are going to be sarcastic - or are you another one calling me a liar - you are not going to get the information you requested.

Have you ever thought that it is not who you address your emails to, but what you put in them?  I can send you email addresses until I am blue in the face, but I can't very well assist you with the content - and therein possibly lies the nub of the matter.

I sent a mesage by using the 'contact us' bit at the top of this page then went into the 'online form'. I got a reply within 2 days
