Just been notified that Ventura n926 is not going to Catalina Island but is going to Grenada instead. This moves the date that we visit St. Kitts to the 10th. What happens to excursions booked at St Kitts ? do they just change the dates ? anyone know?

Normally if they are P&O excursions they will either be changed to the new date, or in some circumstances, cancelled - in which case you will get a refund. If, however, you have organised the excursions yourself then you will have to "sort it out"

Greg and Cess - How did you get notified?  We're on 927A and I was rather looking forward to a lazy day on Catalina Island as we don't have to decide what to do. Hoping they don't ditch it.

Our travel agents rang us to say P&O had contacted them that morning with the changes. Apparently "berthing conditions" was the reason. I think that means too many ships

Of the two I think I would prefer a visit to Grenada

We would much prefer Greneda. Catalina island is a beach and nothing else but a few overpriced souvenier stalls.  Greneda has so much more to offer as well as a fantastic beach if that is what you want.  Hope they change N928 as well.  Sue

Got on to TA in response to this & P&O hadn't bothered to tell them anything. they phoned & confirmed there's a change & were told there's a letter going out! Fat lot of good at this notice! They're going to email a new itinerary. Don't really have a problem with the change so long as the trip we'd booked can be rearranged but it would be nice to be informed.

In my experience there will no problems at all regarding P&Os willingness to resolve excursion issues of this nature. Must happen all the time - think La Rochelle for example.

Don't worry about it, is my advice.
