Hope all have been well today.  It has been fine here, very strong sun this morning.  I am feeling a lot better but stayed in tonight.

The reason I stayed in tonight was because of it being 5th November.  I go down a pathway that has play areas on both sides and also a very large grassed area so thought it best not to take chances re fireworks going astray while I was going along there.  One section has no houses for a short distance so I bowed to Colin's better judgement and stayed in.

I went to the Vis. Imp. club this morning.  The new member who was there last week when I wasn't there still came again.  I had a long chat with him and he is coming again next week.  He enjoyed the company more than the need to learn a new skill even though he can't see.  I brought home the Braille machine and Braille paper, and a laptop with equipment to demonstrate how we teach these at an exhibition tomorrow.

This evening I have printed off some more brochures to take tomorrow, along with some posters and fliers for the Christmas Fayre we are having in a couple of weeks time.  Got bag packed ready with everything needed to demonstrate just what we do at the club including the photos of everybody working at different sections.  It is an exhibition for the Visually Impaired with stands from both local and national companies who have different types of equipment that could be useful to people with sight problems.  We are there to promote our club activities.  Carol is coming in early so that we can pick up our Treasurer, Jack at about 9am along with his bits and bobs and then going to set up at the exhibition.  It opens to the public at 10am.  We need to make sure we have been given a position near a power point for the laptop.   It finishes at 3pm.   Long day to be demonstrating and chatting but we might find some useful information from the other companies who will be there.

Fireworks have been going off next door for over a couple of hours yet neither of them are working!!!!!

We had been invited to go for supper there this evening but declined....

Did the family enjoy the display?  Did you notice that I took notice of advice tonight?

There have been an awful lot of fireworks going off around here tonight and still are.  A real lot going off around about at the time I would have been coming home from church.  I know if I had gone and said I was a bit worried one or more of them would have walked home with me and then gone back for their cars to go home themselves but that isn't fair on everybody else.  There have been offers made before when it had started getting darker nights but I said I always feel safe and am fine.  I always do feel safe but wasn't too sure tonight so listened both to Colin and my own inner voice.

So pleased your back is a lot better now.  You keep having problems with it.  Please be a bit more careful.
