| A SHIP is a vessel I board in Southampton to go cruise to the Mediterranean, etc and back for a fortnight or more. A BOAT is Bridleway Open to All Traffic, where I can enjoy a walk in sometimes pleasant and peaceful scenary.

| I always thought that anything over 100 feet long was a ship, unless it's a yacht, a yacht being a vessel not used for making revenue, which is why the Royal Yacht Btitannia was a yacht and not a ship. Ann
