I've barred 09 numbers from our phone. There are lots of scams using them.

| Chickadee Maybe, but not before many people have made the call. Amazing how many cards can be dropped into a letter box in a couple of days. :-)

The email itself is a hoax spam, created years ago, I've seen it last year and year before. Its not true, people create stuff like this so people send it to all their friends like a chain letter, well this is a chain email, and all it does is clog up cyber space.

| There have been other scams where a small fee is payable before redelivery. You phone a contact number; similar to the one shown but not necessarily 09XXX then they charge £2.50 or so to your credit/debit card. They know your address because they know the letterbox where they put their card. You give them your credit/debit card number and the security number off the back to pay. They then have full details of how to get you to pay for things. If you do not expect a parcel you should not be receiving one. watch out Keith
