Señor and Señora King, the date you are inquiring about is available, however I am sorry that I am not personally able to guide you on that day as I have already agreed to take another group. I do have 4 other trusted guides, along with 4 other vans, that help me with the tours. I would be happy to pair you up with one of them! I assure you that they are very qualified to proudly show you around Acapulco. Señor and Señora King, they English, they are licensed. Insured, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the city and your safety and satisfaction is very important to them as it is to me!! JJJ I guarantee I will be monitoring your tour and we will meet in the pier as I will welcome you and personally introduce you to your guide and make sure that they take excellent care of you! :-)
Señor and Señora King, below is a list of suggestions some of which I consider are must to be visited places when on a tour in Acapulco, the approximate length and the cost of a tour like that :-)
1. - La Quebrada and the Divers, above all and in the very first place, it is what you can call a must! http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/the-high-cliff-divers-of-la-quebrada.html
2. - Non denominational Chapel of Peace and the Cross of Trouyet, without a doubt the best view to the bay area, surrounded by beautiful residences at the very pricey “Las Brisas” residential area.http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/the-chapel-of-peace.html
3. - The Los Flamingos Hotel, Once owned by John Wayne and Johnny Weissmuller amongst other movie actors. We will see the “Casa Tarzan” where Johnny Weissmuller lived the last 20 years of his life. http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/flamingos-hotel.html http://www.hotellosflamingos.com/hollywoodgang.html
4. - Hotel Casa Blanca, Stopping there for the most fantastic pictures of East side Acapulco, and of the Cruise Ship! http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/casablanca-hotel.html
5. - Diego Rivera´s mosaic mural, painted by the most important artist of Mexico, a referral and an Icon in Mexican Art, married with the controversial painter Frida Kahlo, A short stop to take pictures!!
http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/diego-rivera-mosaic-mural.html
6. - El Mercado Municipal, (suggested) what I call a truly Eye Opener! So different to what you and your family have seen. But I warn you! J It can be Cultural Shocking for very many people; I recommend it very highly any way! TRUST AND BE CONFIDENT, WE DO NOT HAVE TO GET OFF AND WE CAN ONLY DRIVE ALONG FOR A FEW MINUTES…..
http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/the-market-el-mercado-municipal-what-an-eye-opener.htm
7. - The “other” bay, Puerto Marquez, smaller than the Bay of Acapulco but 8 times nicer as well, we only stop for pictures for a few minutes over there!
http://wikimapia.org/#lat=16.8303393&lon=-99.8569679&z=13&l=0&m=s
8. - El Zorrito restaurant (only suggested) Excellent Mexican Restaurant, or any other place you wish to go having lunch! http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/el-zorrito-restaurant.html (the cost of Lunch in “El Zorrito is approximately $10.00 to $15.00 USD (do you wish taking a look at the menu? I can e-mail it to you!)
9. - El Zócalo & Cathedral, the Downtown area Main Square and Cathedral, oldest part of town and the most typical part of it, we may stop there for 20-30 minutes or not, it is always up to you!!
http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/el-zocalo-cathedral.html .
This was Señor and Señora King, a list of most popular attractions (I will always tailor the tour according to your wishes) I will show some or all these places to you for 5, 6 hours or a little more! Naturally in between these places I will be proudly telling you about My Country and My City. (If it takes a little longer it will be all right with me!)
Señora King, Señor King, here are a few links of what way more limited tours of 3 ½ hours or less and in company of 30 other sometimes noisy people with different interests & preferences and visiting at the most one third of the attractions You will see with us would cost at the ship or other places:

Señor and Señora King, a private, personalized, longer & directed to What You want to see tour with the itinerary You or I had proposed seeing many more places than with the ship´s tour is Only $75.00 per person if there would be just two of you; however Señorita Señor and Señora King, if once on board of the cruise or before, you happen to meet other people that you wish inviting joining you on this VERY PRIVATE EXCURSION, the price per person will diminish considerably, if you happen to be 4 to 6 it will only be $50.00 per person, now, if you are 7 or more the price will be $45.00 dollars per person. How do you like that! I beg you please let me know what you think about thisJ; there will be no hidden fees, costs or secret charges, no out of sight extras, no surprises!!! :- ) I ALWAYS HAVE SPARE VANS ALONG WITH EXTRA TRUSTED GUIDES IN CASE OF NEED, SO WE CAN TAKE CARE OF AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOUR ARE !! (Even without previous notice!!)
Concerning the paying issue….. I have a very rigid & inflexible policy here….. No deposit at all!!! And you can ONLY pay AFTER the tour…. LOL… :-) ¿How do you like that as a guarantee?
I will of course include a freezer conveniently provided of icy cold purified water & sodas along the tour at no extra cost for you! J
Señor and Señora King, there are other places we can go to as the following: El Fuerte de San Diego http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/san-diego-fort.html (Older Building in Acapulco and The Home of The Historical Museum) We will need 45 minutes in there or more (only if you are into history) J, The Shotover Jet Boat or the Rafting rides (a good 45 minutes ride and both one hour away from the pier, each way (only if you like the adrenaline and the strenuous activities), these attractions are not a must but they are fun to :-) http://www.tourbyvan.com/?attractions/shotover-jet-sight-seeing.htm
My trusted guides and I are all intercommunicated via Nextel Radio and Cell Phones as well, I personally keep track of every Van and trusted guide during the whole excursion. We always remain within a 30-45 minutes far range from the Cruise Ship and in the 85% of all suggested attractions we have the Vessel at sight!!! :-) There is no possible chance of missing the ship!!!! :-) We also always remain within a maximum of 15-20 minutes from the other vans in case of need.
Mr. and Mrs. King, I am trying to build up a reputation in the Cruise Critic, Trip Advisor boards; and that is I think, also a great guarantee of good service for you!!
Give us the opportunity of being your guides on you and your party this next November 26th, :-) and We will make of your day in Acapulco a very fun and agreeable one and a referral of your cruise along the Mexican Riviera.
