| Anybody traveling on R901? Haven't seen anyone mention this cruise. Have booked and it looks a great itinerary.

| Counting the days, particularly as I was due to board, in Auckland on the ill fated 2005 cruise. But that's another story. Ended up joining the QE11 in Hong Kong for the return voyage. Sandra

Hi,
Thanks for replying. Yes, I am doing the full cruise and really looking forward to it with lots of places I haven't been to. Just hope that the ship is as good as ever.

Hello everyone,
I wasn't sure how to post items on the forum as this is the first time I have ever attempted anything like this - but it appears to be working. So I thought that I would just add a bit to my earlier posting.
Looking forward to the cruise is almost as exciting as the holiday itself and before much longer we'll all be going on board. It's a while since I played deck quoits (as the other ships I have been sailing on recently haven't had the facility) but looking forward to many a game during the cruise and also some games of Bridge at the Intermediate level - just friendly games- nothing too serious.
Hopefully, we'll get a chance to meet up during the holiday.
Here's to a great time,
David

| We were on the full world cruise on the Adonia in 2004, the full world cruise on the Aurora this year and are booked for the full world cruise on Aurora next year. We enjoyed our holiday this year but must confess that we enjoy sitting on the balcony on seadays most of all and are concerned whether we will still have that enjoyment if the new smoking rules will apply to the Aurora at that time.

The new smoking rules and how it will affect you on your balcony is a lot of people's concern. I feel it is a gross infringement of our civil liberties and will prevent us from breathing fresh sea air.
Human rights? Out of the window.

We were on the Aurora World Cruise in 2006, we were excited that we had a balcony to enjoy some of the long days at sea. Sadly it turned out not to be what we expected, the folks in the next cabin where making full use of their human rights and chain smoked at every given opportunity. So this time, we have booked an outside cabin minus the balcony - at least it has saved us a few pounds.

The chap in the cabin next to us on the first leg would come out onto his balcony late at night and have a small cigar. No problem there. The next occupant was Iris Williams, she didn't smoke and we could sometimes going through her routine :-) but we did a back to back later in the year and one cabin next to us was dreadful :-(
