In the outside cabins with obstructed view on Ventura, does anyone know if you can see anything at all or do lifeboats cover the windows fully?

Many thanks

I got off Ventura today, I was on D deck but walking around the extremely narrow Prom Deck it appeared that E deck Obstructed View did have some space above the life boats, but I doubt you could really see much.

Just depends on what cabin you pick in the obstructed views cabin. Some of them do not have anyhting infront of the window such as cabinsE401,E405E403 ETC and the same on port side also.

Hi

We were in E630, supposed to be obstructed, but wasn't apart from one narrow pole towards the edge of the ship, but didn't affect us.

Hi I have just come off Ventura ( Fri 12TH ) I had an outside on E deck ( E718 ), this is listed as obstructed view, the only obstruction would be the balcony to the left, cabins 716 & 714 will not have this obstruction.

Hope this helps

We had an obscured view, but you can see round the life boat, and if its a Tender Port, then the lifeboat will be used and you get a full view

Hi there

I've just checked the deck plan (bear in mind they arent 100% reliable but anyway...)

We were E604 Obstructed view

It looks as if you have a 'smaller' lifeboat in front of your window but that you are placed identically to how our cabin was placed (in line with the lifeboat I mean)

Now I suggest you take all this with a pinch of salt as we are going off deck plans here which arent to scale... BUT if you want to see what we could see out of our window please see my cabin photos.

(If the info/piccies are any help to you then you might like to add E625 when you get back from your cruise so that we can have another obstructed view for comparison.)

Anyway hopefully my photos will help you somewhat... but as I said I am only going on the deck plan and that may not be accurate.

Have a great cruise
