1st two cruises were booked with local TA but no specific knowledge of cruising and not particularly interested in meeting our needs as customers only in getting our money into their tills!!

Then I discovered Cruisekings and haven't looked back. I find the service is second to none and they are usually able to answer a query in the same day.

Cruisekings for me too.

Always get 6 quotes, inc Bolsolver, ideal cruising liverpool cruiseclub, also found Bolsolver very poor customer service, said she would ring back with the quote, didn't, I rang them got another TA as 'mine was busy (all long distance ) she wouldn't deal with me as I 'belonged' to the other busy TA, asked again to ring or email be, did neither, gave up.

Cruise kings nearly always the cheapest and service excellent.

We too use Jane Chadwick at GoCruise her personal service and knowledge re P&O ships is second to none.

Have used Bolsover in the past but began to find them less interested.

Used Thomas Cook once, yes they matched the price but unless their one and only expert was in the shop we knew more than they did.

Cruise Kings email offers are the best IMHO quite often manage to put a different spin on cruises and what is selling or not.

Used Bolsover and call in person as it is local to us. Found them very polite and helpful face to face and over the phone. Might have a look at Cruise King. Where do I contact them please?

I have used Jane Chadwick a couple of times for shorter cruises and yes she is good, however, I found for longer cruises, Cruise Kings were cheaper.

Nowadays, I don't even bother to ring around.  The service I have had from Cruise Kings has been second to none and for me, that's more important than saving a few pounds.

We have always booked through cruise specialist and found their prices to be very competetive and service excellent.  Always ready to answer any queries and very knowledgable about most cruise lines. 5*

We always book with Jane Chadwick at Go Cruise these days. She knows what we like and what we need, and on occasions when life has gone pear-shaped for us, Jane has been fab at sorting stuff out for us. She goes the extra mile and then some; that's worth any amount of discounting in our book.

For those people who get loads of quotes and then agents don't phone you back - have you considered that they read what you write on these boards about how tough you are on the agents, and then they maybe decide that it's just not worth the hassle? Especially now the commission rates have been cut. Just a thought. Don't underestimate how widely read these message boards are!!!

When I first cruised, I used Wallace Arnold.  At that time they didn't charge a percentage for using Visa - doing a World Cruise, it made quite a difference, particularly using someone like Tesco, you got masses of points.

Once they joined most other Agents by adding the Visa charge, we shopped around and have settled down using Cruise Kings.  I speak with the same person each time and she is very nice and helpful with all my bookings.
