So a pint in a straight glass it is! But should I get a tattoo to complete the image?

LOL!!! seriously....no one unless theyve got nowt else better to do will not give a stuff if you drink pints or not!! go for it!!

this cruising malarky is really not as stuffy as some people think!! remember the amount of people that post on this site only represent a very small minority of cruisers

Drink what you like!! its your holiday

Here's my comments about pre ordering drinks so you don't carry a glass into dinner with you. I am not going to knock back a drink just to finish it when dinner is called if I had pre ordered a drink for dinner. Likewise I am not going to leave a drink I have paid for even if one was waiting for me at the table. But the REAL reason I do not pre order is I do not know what I will want come dinner time so if I have some/most/all of a pint or glass of wine remaining when dinner is called I will take it into dinner with me as it's something I wanted to drink when I ordered it............and by the time the wine waiter gets to me I will decide if I'd like another drink or not. And I am damned if I am going to spend my time worrying if my 'addtional' glass at the table is going to look inelegant and spoil the layout of the table.

There is another reason I did not pre-order and it was all due to the cheeky wine waiter we had on P815 recently, I tended to ask for a glass of Rose when he came to take my order whether I really wanted it or not as he had the nerve to tell me on the 2nd night to pre-order Rose as " it would save me having to go upstairs to collect it."

I hope it's not frowned upon because I'm a pints girl too! Not sure what I'll end up with at the table as I don't like wine (I have tried though, but to no avail) and usually end up with lemonade :-(

If it upset anyone, I'd happily drink halves providing they are paying ;-)

Now I am not a "pints" girl myself (believe me it really would not fit the image and also I cant lift the glass!!) but in all seriousness do they do draught beer? I can only recall seeing bottles similar to peroni, stella or similar. I stick to wine and various cocktails so am not an expert.
