Caribbean ports update

The Caribbean has always been a magnet for people seeking sunshine and smiles. In light of the impact of the recent hurricanes on certain islands, we're doing all we can to support the region by continuing to visit. Most of our ports of call were unaffected and whilst we're continuing to work with the affected islands to help where we can, we have arranged alternative ports where necessary to ensure you can make the very most of what the iconic Caribbean has to offer.

About Key West

The resort and cruise port of Key West is the southernmost of the string of Florida Keys so is just about as far south as you can travel in the USA. It is also just about the most laid- back, anything-goes place anywhere in this vast, diverse country.

It is unashamedly touristy but it is also proud of its history. Ernest Hemingway's restored house-turned-museum is a must for any visitor interested in literary history. Look out for the six-toed cats, descendants of the author's own, which still live there.

Key West is small and easy to stroll around with many bars offering live music, a range of shops and some superb restaurants serving the best steak and seafood. Duval Street is the main hub while the Bahamian Quarter provides a glimpse of a far more traditional way of life created by settlers from Cuba and the Bahamas.
