Service on board P&O Cruises

We will go to any length to ensure you enjoy the holiday of a lifetime

Great service begins the minute you arrive in Southampton with porters waiting to take your luggage before you even check-in and as you board, you’ll be welcomed by members of the ship’s company. Once on board, you’ll meet your personal cabin steward who will ensure your cabin is as comfortable as possible throughout your trip and will always greet you with a friendly smile. If you are travelling in a suite, you will be able to enjoy the services of a butler who make sure your holiday is stress free – from organising in-suite cocktail parties to helping you pack and unpack, no request is too big.

Throughout the ship, you will find genuine and attentive service from knowledgeable staff happy to help in any way they can. You’ll soon become friends with the same waiters who will serve your table each and every evening, and will be amazed by the memory of the bar staff who will often remember your drink if you’re a regular in the same bar.

We have 175 years of experience to call on

Over this time we have perfected cruising to become the cruise experts. Our ships have visited almost every port in the world, which means we are able to put together the most interesting and stimulating destinations. We savour the very best cruise traditions and keep them alive, so on board you’ll find afternoon tea served every day; deck games and a daily announcement by the captain at midday.

We take care of every detail

From a nightly turndown service to pool attendants offering fresh towels, we look after every aspect of your holiday. The moment you step on board, we will make sure you have a holiday of a lifetime – whether that means impeccable service, your favourite cocktail made just how you like it or breakfast in bed every morning.

All you have to do is relax and enjoy

Whether you long to relax by the pool, on your balcony with a good book or partake in something more active such as deck tennis or a gym session you’re free to enjoy your day as you prefer. You’ll receive a daily newspaper, called Horizon, each evening detailing the following day’s activities – all you need to do is plan as much or as little and you want.
