Chukka 4x4 Safari

Experience the natural history and cultural heritage of Grand Turk in a safari themed 4x4 F250.

Your 4x4 adventure takes you to the airport to view the space capsule, before travelling to the capital city, Cockburn Town, to view the HM Prison.

Drive along the quaint Front Street, lined with turn of the century Bermudian-style architecture. See the ruins of the old Salinas and observe the windmills that were used to funnel natural seawater from one Salina to another.

Go off the beaten track to see the town of Salina, where you may catch a glimpse of the endangered pink flamingos, before making your way uphill to see breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean atop Breezy Brae.

Pass the North Creek, the last hurricane shelter for yachts travelling between Nassau and Puerto Rico. Enter North Wells by way of a narrow sand track, home to many indigenous wild horses, donkeys and cows.

See St Thomas Anglican Church and enjoy grand vistas of Gibb’s Cay and the tiny uninhabited islands from Gun Hill. You’ll round off your tour with a brief stop at Governor’s Beach for a quick dip and soft drink refreshment.

Gibbs Cay and Stingray

This wonderful opportunity allows you to swim and snorkel with the graceful southern stingrays.

Take a breezy boat ride out to the beautiful and uninhabited island of Gibbs Cay. Upon arrival, your crew will provide you with snorkel equipment for you to explore the pristine waters. If you wish, you may explore the coral reef about 50 yards from the beach and get a close-up view of the colourful fish.

The highlight of your time here will no doubt be your encounter with the stingrays, who enjoy the warm shallow waters of the Cay. See these graceful creatures as they approach the small bay. Your crew will assist you in handling this fascinating species.

After swimming with the stingrays, relax with a complimentary refreshment on the white sand before returning to the ship.

Scuba Experience

For experienced divers, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

Grand Turk is a paradise for divers, boasting the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world.

You’ll depart from the pier by boat to the dive site, a pristine coral reef. Enjoy around 1 hour at the first site before re-joining the boat to head for the second dive site.

Discover Scuba

Scuba diving over the pristine reefs of Grand Turk is bound to leave a lasting impression, as well as learning a new skill.

If you have always wanted to learn to dive, now is the time to discover scuba. The islands of the Turks and Caicos feature the 3rd largest barrier reef in the world.

Your scuba adventure begins at the cruise pier dive shop, where you’ll be kitted out and receive a safety briefing. You’ll then depart by boat to your scuba destination, a pristine coral reef. Here, your instructor will provide you with basic instructions and ask you to perform a competence test to ensure everyone is comfortable. Enjoy the wonderful sights below the water surface as you explore this new world.

Catamaran Sailaway and Snorkel

Combine a delightful catamaran cruise with an opportunity to snorkel the surrounding waters of Grand Turk.

You’ll board the 78-foot ‘Oasis Sea Passion’ catamaran at the pier, where you’ll be greeted by your friendly crew. The gentle trade winds will take you through the crystal clear waters from Grand Turk to Cotton Bay. Here you’ll have the opportunity to snorkel the colourful surrounding coral reef. Look out for the many varieties of tropical fish that can be found in these waters.

Afterwards, it’s time to set sail once more and head to a private beach where you’ll anchor just off shore. You may wish to take a swim to the beach and relax on the sugary white sands or simply enjoy the sun on board the catamaran.

As you head back along the coast to Grand Turk, enjoy a refreshing rum punch or soft drink whilst listening to some rhythmic island tunes.

Chukka Dune Buggy Adventure - SOMTHING DIFFERENT

Climb behind the wheel of a purpose-built, tubular frame dune buggy and experience a fun-filled and adventurous ride.

After a quick safety and orientation briefing, you’ll don your helmets and climb aboard your self-drive dune buggy. Your journey will take you south east along the narrow marl tracks that skirt the beach and rocky coastline. During your ride, capture beautiful views of Gibbs Cay and the surrounding Turk islands.

Afterwards, continue to view John Glenn’s Space Capsule, located at the main entrance of the airport. Your journey will continue passing by the many Salinas that were used to obtain salt; here you may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the Pink Flamingo. Passing through the small capital of Cockburn Town, you’ll head to North Wells and arrive at North Creek, the northerly point of the island.

Enjoy a short nature walk and admire the magnificent views, high above the Atlantic Ocean before your return ride back along the east coast.

Kayak Safari

Kayak through the mangroves and enjoy a nature walk on the beach, taking in the natural beauty of Grand Turk.

Setting off from the port, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive en route to North Creek to the starting point of your kayak adventure.

Upon arrival you’ll be met by experienced guides and provided with a complimentary bottle of water. Following a safety briefing and instruction, you’ll board your 2 man glass-bottom kayak. As you paddle through the shallow waters of the mangroves, your guide will provide interesting facts about the animal and plant life of the area. Explore small coves and learn the importance of the ecological system.

Afterwards, you’ll enjoy a nature walk along the beach where you can look out for the local birdlife and take in the beauty of the natural surroundings, before the return drive to the port.

Two Reef Snorkel Adventure

An opportunity for snorkelling enthusiasts to discover two of Grand Turks pristine coral reefs.

Your adventure begins at the pier, as you board your boat and set off across the crystal clear waters taking in lovely coastal views.

Upon arrival at Horseshoe Bay, the captain will drop anchor, ready for you to take to the water. Don your snorkel equipment and follow the knowledgeable crew, as you snorkel the coral reef.

Once back on board, you will continue to a second reef located off Round Cay, where you will enjoy another snorkelling experience.

During your tour, you will discover a myriad of tropical fish and coral and learn interesting facts about the marine life of Grand Turk.

Fruit punch refreshments will be available on board the boat.

Reef Snorkel and Stingray

Discover the pristine Grand Turk coral reef and take a swim with the Stingrays.

Step on board your boat at the pier for a ride out to a beautiful and untouched coral reef, just off the coast of Grand Turk.

Upon arrival, the captain will drop anchor, ready for you to take to the water. Don your snorkel equipment and follow the knowledgeable crew, as you snorkel the coral reef. Enjoy a close up view of the colourful tropical fish and a variety of corals and sea fans.

Once back on board, you’ll take the short ride to the stingrays ‘playground’, enjoying a soft drink refreshment along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll have the opportunity to enter the shallow waters with these graceful creatures, and your crew will assist you in handling this fascinating species.

After your encounter with the Stingrays, you’ll take the short boat ride back to the pier.

Private Poolside Cabana - SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Enjoy some poolside relaxation in a private air-conditioned Cabana.

Spend the day enjoying the Grand Turk Cruise Centre from the comfort of your own private Cabana. Upon arrival at the cruise terminal you’ll take the short walk from the ship to the Margaritaville Restaurant to check-in and receive your key. You’ll be escorted to your Cabana, which is yours to use for the duration of your ship’s call.

Each Cabana is furnished with a table and comfortable seating inside. The outside offers a small shaded deck overlooking the pool, with 2 lounge chairs and a shared outdoor shower. Waiter service will also be provided by the Margaritaville Restaurant and Bar, should you wish to purchase any snacks, lunch or drinks.

Surfboarding Flowrider - SOMETHING DIFFERENT

An opportunity for those who are experienced in surfing, snowboarding or wakeboarding, to try out their skills on the Flowrider.

This Flowrider option is for the more experienced surfers, snowboarders and wakeboarders, allowing you to stand up and ride the waves. The ride operates by sending a thin sheet of water at high speed up a pre-formed and cushioned platform.

Located at the cruise centre, you’ll take the short walk from the ship to the Flowrider, where you’ll check in at the reception and your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. You’ll then be given a safety briefing and a short demonstration and lesson from the instructors before you take to the Flowrider.

You’ll enjoy around 60 minutes of ride time, rotating through the attraction several times, alongside 15 participants on each side of the ride. A complimentary certificate of participation will be offered at the end of your session.

Body or Knee Boarding Flowrider - SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Experience the thrill of body or knee boarding on the Grand Turk Flowrider.

This Flowrider option is a fun and exciting way to try body and knee boarding and is suitable for beginners. The ride operates by sending a thin sheet of water at high speed up a pre-formed and cushioned platform.

Located at the cruise centre, you’ll take the short walk from the ship to the Flowrider, where you’ll check in at the reception and your ticket will be exchanged for a wristband. You’ll then be given a safety briefing and a short demonstration and lesson from the instructors before you take to the Flowrider.

You’ll enjoy round 30 minutes of ride time, rotating through the attraction several times, alongside 10-15 participants on each side of the ride. A complimentary certificate of participation will be offered at the end of your session.

Historical Town and Museum

Discover the history of Grand Turk and Cockburn Town, the small capital of the Turks and Caicos.

Setting off from the port, you’ll take a short drive to the John Glenn commemorative capsule to enjoy a brief photo stop. Your drive will then continue, passing the St Thomas Parish Church and onto the town lighthouse. Here you’ll learn some of Grand Turk’s ‘pirate past’.

Afterwards, your drive will take you along Duke Street and Front Street, passing by the Bermudan-style architecture and arriving at the pretty 1899 Anglican Church. Enjoy a photo stop before heading to the Turks and Caicos National Museum for a short visit.

To round off your tour, a stop will be made at the Salt House, a tribute to Grand Turk’s salt raking past. Browse the exhibits and perhaps purchase a souvenir from the gift shop, before returning to the port.

Grand Turk Bike and Beach

An opportunity to explore Grand Turk’s small historical capital by bike, and enjoy some time to relax on the beach.

You’ll join your biking guide at the pier, and after a briefing you’ll set off towards the capital Cockburn Town.

During your ride, enjoy the town’s highlights making short stops along the way. View the Bermudian-style architecture, learn of Grand Turks salt raking past at the Salinas (Salt Ponds) and visit the local Methodist church.

Afterwards, you’ll pedal straight to Governors Beach, where your bike ride will end. Here, you can sit back and relax on a beach chair or perhaps take a refreshing dip in the sea. The return time is at your own leisure; buses will be readily available for your return to the port.

During your tour, a bottle of water is provided.
