Pearl Harbour and Honolulu - BEST SELLER

A memorable visit to Pearl Harbour and the chance to enjoy the spectacular views of this beautiful Hawaiian island.

Explore the exhibits of the World War II Pacific National Monument Centre, and view the moving 23-minute film depicting the events of the 1941 Pearl Harbour attack. Board the Navy launch for the short ride to the Memorial. This 184-foot-long structure spans the hull of the US Arizona in which 1,177 men are entombed.

Enjoy a drive through the Punchbowl National Cemetery, which includes the Courts of the Missing, the chapel and mosaic maps of the Pacific theatres of action in World War II.

See some of the many incredible sights and extraordinary scenery of Oahu. Coastal Explorer

Enjoy an introduction to one of Oahu’s most visited districts combined with views of some of the island’s dramatic scenery.

Drive through the bustling city of Honolulu to Diamond Head Crater. Standing directly in the middle of this now extinct volcanic crater, your guide will explain the history of this famous landmark. From this natural wonder you’ll travel through Oahu’s southern coast, to Hanauma Bay, this incredibly beautiful spot provides magnificent photo opportunities.

Continuing along the beautiful coastline, you’ll pause at the famous Halona Point Blow Hole. If the tide is right, you will see an impressive waterspout show.

Enjoy the splendid Makapu’u Lookout as your guide describes the fascinating volcanic origin of this area, home to many bird and plant species. Notice the dramatic change in the island’s topography as you continue towards the scenic windward coast. A stop will be made at a Hawaiian archaeological site and former war temple.

Before your return to Honolulu, a grand finale awaits. The final stop of this spectacular day will be at the Pali Lookout, located high in the Koolau Mountains; the views from here are simply awe inspiring. Take a moment to enjoy the sights and absorb the very special atmosphere of this magical island.

Snapshot of Honolulu

A relaxing tour of some of Honolulu's main highlights - without the legwork.

Marvel at the sights on a drive along the world-renowned Waikiki Beach golden mile, with the incredible Diamond Head Crater looming in the background. Enjoy views of Koko Head Crater and Hanauma Bay, formed during Oahu's last eruption, and now a marine preserve with crystal clear water and extensive underwater life.

En route to the fantastic Halona Point Blow Hole, you will be treated to spectacular island scenery on the winding road that takes you through a series of stratified cliffs of volcanic remains.

Enjoy a photo stop at the Blow Hole where, if the tide is right, you can see the water shooting out of an ancient submerged lava tube like a geyser. Absorb the wonderful views of Sandy Beach as you drive through the homestead area of Waimanalo and along the Pali highway.

Have your camera ready at the breathtaking Pali Lookout to capture the wonderful scenery of Kaneohe Bay and Oahu's windward side. The supreme contrast of the rolling emerald fields and jagged mountains are framed beautifully by the brilliant blue ocean.

Return to the ship via Downtown Honolulu, where you will see the Iolani Palace - the only royal residence in the USA - and the impressive King Kamehameha statue.

Atlantis Submarine - SOMTHING DIFFERENT

Your adventure begins with a brief transfer from the ship to Waikiki’s Hilton Hawaiian Village and the Atlantis Pier. Here, you’ll board the Atlantis transfer vessel for a 15-minute boat ride, featuring scenic views of Waikiki and Diamond Head. Upon arrival at the Atlantis dive site, you’ll transfer to the submarine for your underwater journey.

Being in a submarine and descending to 100 feet underwater is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and to add to this unforgettable experience, just imagine the extensive marine life you will see up close. Oahu’s Famous North Shore

Become acquainted with the scenic and cultural attractions of Oahu’s North Shore on this exciting journey of discovery.

Drive over the Ko’olau Mountains to the Valley of the Temples, location of the stunning Byodo Temple. Lying at the base of 2,000 foot lush green cliffs, this beautiful Buddhist temple is a replica of the 900 year old Byodo-In located in Uji, Japan. The valley sits against a back-drop of tall cliffs and is landscaped with traditional lush Japanese gardens and Koi ponds. Inside the temple you’ll find the largest wooden Buddha carved over 900 years ago and decorated with gold and lacquer.

Follow the scenic shores of Kahana Bay to Makalena State Beach Park, renowned for its native plant and seabird species, including Kahuku’s Shrimp Farm.

Continue to the world famous Sunset Beach, an eye-catching region famed for its towering waves. Sunset Beach is on the North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii and known for big wave surfing during the winter season, including the O'Neill world cup surfing competition.

Visit Turtle Beach to observe rare green sea turtles resting on the golden sand, then travel south to the historic village of Haleiwa, colourful home to surfers, artists and craftspeople.

En route to the Dole Pineapple Plantation you’ll enjoy extensive views of pineapple fields. On reaching the plantation you can view displays and presentations about this fruit and learn the history of Dole and the plantation centre.

Honolulu by Helicopter

This is a fantastic introduction to Honolulu’s superb landscape by helicopter. You’ll marvel at the beautiful sandy white beaches and take in the highlights from your tremendous aerial viewpoint.

Witness amazing views of the placid Keehi Lagoon and historic Honolulu Harbour. Here you will view Aloha Tower, once the tallest structure on the island. See downtown Honolulu, featuring the only royal palace in the country. Above the city stands the Punchbowl, the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific.

Your flight continues above Ala Moana Beach Park, Magic Island, the Ala Wai Yacht Harbour and Waikiki Beach. Beyond, you'll see Diamond Head Crater from a dramatic perspective, the Gold Coast, where millionaires make their homes and spectacular Hanauma Bay.

Rounding to the east end of the island, you'll witness the rugged coastline, Sandy Beach, Makapuu Point and the lighthouse. Polynesian Sunset Sail

Experience a local Polynesian show and dinner with the Hawaiian sunset as your backdrop.

Step aboard the 170 x 150 foot ‘Ruler of the Sea’ catamaran for a sail along the Hawaiian coast. The Pacific Ocean is the backdrop for you to soak up the views of world famous Waikiki and Honolulu City while watching the Hawaiian sun set below the horizon.

A traditional local buffet style dinner will be served onboard before a captivating Polynesian show.
