Discover the beauty of Ocho Rios - immaculate tropical gardens, forest countryside and, of course, Jamaica's main attraction - Dunn’s River Falls.

Dunn’s River Falls is a 600-foot waterfall cascading down tiers of smooth rock. Some 185 steps take you to the bottom, where you begin your climb up the Falls. Experienced guides will lead your climb up the spectacular falls, and if you do not wish to make the entire climb, you may choose to relax in one of the naturally formed freshwater pools. Alternatively, you may prefer to remain at the base of the Falls and enjoy the beach and warm Caribbean Sea.

After your waterfall experience, you’ll visit the tranquil Shaw Park Gardens. These Gardens boast an impressive collection of Jamaican fruits and flowers. A local guide will provide a short tour of the manicured grounds with their reflecting pond and its own small natural waterfall.

Enjoy a scenic drive through the tropical Fern Gully. This verdant forest of spindling trees, clinging to steep hillsides, is home to a variety of ferns.

Coyaba Gardens and Dunn’s View

This tour is ideal for those who don’t want to participate in the Dunn’s River Falls climb, but still wish to view and photograph this popular attraction.

Enjoy a visit to the Coyaba River Gardens; a tropical garden traversed by meandering streams. A tour through these enchanting gardens will show you exotic tropical flora, springs, waterfalls and streams. The small museum within the gardens is a testimony to the first known inhabitants of the island, the Arawak Indians. You’ll also see some interesting information on the musical legend Bob Marley. During your visit a refreshing drink will be offered.

Take a look at Jamaica’s number one attraction, the Dunn’s River Falls. See the 600-foot waterfall surging over rocks and overflowing small pools en route to the beach and the Caribbean Sea below. Enjoy the views, take photos, and watch those who are climbing up the slippery slopes.

Jeep Safari to Dunn's River Falls - SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Experience the lush tropical interior of Jamaica and the highlight Dunn’s River Falls on this off-road adventure.

Take a drive in zebra-striped safari jeeps through Fern Gully for a glimpse of the 200 different ferns and wonderful mountain views. Travel up to Murphy Hill for views over Ocho Rios and across to the Blue Mountains. On a clear day you can see Cuba!

Ultimate Jamaican Adventure - SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Fly through the trees on a ‘canopy adventure’ before taking on the challenge of the Dunn’s River Falls.

After instruction, your adventure in the treetops and jungle canopy begins. Hold your breath as you leap from platforms and soar through the trees using intricate systems of pulleys on horizontal traverses. Nine traverses, from 105 feet to 660 feet apart, have you swinging through the trees of the Laughlands River Gorge. Enjoy the magnificent jungle landscape and glimpse the ocean in the distance.

Bob Marley by Zion Bus

A must for all Bob Marley fans! An opportunity to visit the birth (and final resting) place of the Rasta legend.

Board the brightly coloured Zion Bus for a sightseeing trip with a difference, as you take a scenic drive through rural St Ann’s and Claremont.

Rock to the rhythms of the Reggae superstar, as you wind your way through the narrow country lanes and listen to the fascinating facts about the life of Bob Marley. You’ll arrive in the mountain village of Nine Miles, where you’ll see the legend’s birthplace and final resting place. Capture the atmosphere at the ‘Graceland’ of Reggae and let the nostalgia set in before heading back to Ocho Rios.

During your tour a tasty Jamaican jerk lunch will be served.

Afternoon Tea at Prospect Great House

Visit the private estate of Prospect Plantation, and enjoy afternoon tea in the 18th century Great House.

Upon arrival at the estate of Prospect Plantation, enjoy a tractor-drawn jitney ride, passing the growing crops, as well as the ostriches and camels roaming the grounds. As you approach the Great House, learn the history of how and why this amazing 18th century fort became the home of the late Sir Harold and Lady Mitchell.

The House contains mementos of kings, presidents and celebrities, who have visited the estate. View the numerous antiques of the 18th century. Wander to the veranda to take in the spectacular views of the pristine waters of the Caribbean sea. Afternoon tea will be served in true colonial style on the veranda, as you enjoy the beautiful scenery and the cool breezes. Listen to tales of ‘old Jamaica’ on the very patio where Sir Harold and Lady Mitchell entertained royalty.

After your tea, stroll through the impeccably kept gardens, and continue your jitney tour of the estate.

Bobsled Jamaica

Experience Mystic Mountain’s signature attraction – The Jamaican Bobsled.

Located at 700 feet above the rainforest is Mystic Mountain, only accessible by the Sky Explorer Chairlift. You’ll take a short drive from the port to the Sky Explorer for a picturesque 15 minute ride through the tropical canopy to the top station.

After a safety briefing and orientation you’ll board your bobsled. The ride features a gravity-driven plunge of 3,280 feet with many twists and turns as you make your way through the dense tropical forest. You control the speed of your descent with an in-sled handbrake, allowing for either a leisurely ride or a pulse quickening dive to the finish.

Afterwards enjoy some leisure time at Mystic Mountain, perhaps taking a swim in the infinity edge pool. During your visit, the on-site restaurant offers plenty of snacks or refreshments for purchase.

When you are ready to depart, simply catch a return ride on the Sky Explorer, where a shuttle bus will return you to the ship.

Mystic Mountain

Experience Jamaica’s newest attraction – The Mystic Mountain Rainforest Adventure Park.

Located at 700 feet above the rainforest canopy is Mystic Mountain, only accessible by the Sky Explorer Chairlift. You’ll take a short drive from the port to the Sky Explorer and step aboard for a picturesque 15 minute ride through the tropical canopy to the top station.

Upon arrival, you will have the opportunity to explore Mystic Mountain at your leisure. Browse the educational pavilion, head to the observation tower and admire the panoramic views or perhaps cool off with a swim in the infinity edge pool. The gift shop offers a variety of souvenirs and refreshments can be purchased from the Mystic Mountain Restaurant.

When you are ready to depart, simply catch a return ride on the Sky Explorer, where a shuttle bus will return you to the ship.

Coyaba and Annandale Great House

Discover the beauty of the Coyaba River Gardens combined with a visit to Annandale, one of Jamaica’s oldest great houses.

Embark on a scenic drive to the Coyaba River Gardens which are filled with exotic tropical flora, waterfalls and streams and are a delight to explore. As you stroll through the gardens, listen to the relaxing sounds of the water and admire the variety of colours that surround you. The gardens are also home to a small museum that introduces you to the Jamaican history and provides some interesting information on the musical legend Bob Marley.

Afterwards, your drive will continue to Annandale Great House taking in the lovely Jamaican countryside along the way. The great house and grounds will take you back to the time of colonial Jamaica, and during a tour of the house you can delight in the antiques and furnishings. Light refreshments will be offered during your visit.

Your return drive to the port will take you via Steer Town, before arriving back into Ocho Rios.
