An opportunity to visit a Guatemalan coffee estate and sample some aromatic flavours.
Enjoy a scenic drive through the lowlands and on to the Filadelfia Coffee Estate, an ecological project covering an area of approximately 250 acres of land. The Estate runs reforestation programmes seeding White Pine, Gravilea, mahogany, cedar and cypress, and contributes to the well being of the country’s ecology.
You’ll be taken on a guided tour of the Estate to see the wet mill, dry mill and the hand sorting process. Sample two of the greatest coffee classifications, their aromas, body, acidity and their differences. During your visit, a light snack and refreshing soft drink will also be served.
Your return drive offers a panoramic drive through the city of Santiago de los Caballeros, known today as La Antigua Guatemala. Colourful façades, churches, palaces, and colourful bougainvilleas make this Spanish colonial city a favourite with visitors from all over the world.
