St. Barts

This scenic drive, by local taxi van, provides the perfect opportunity to see the highlights of the island. Leaving Gustavia, you’ll take the high road which offers a view of the town and the ship at anchor. You’ll see the most popular beach on St Barts, St Jean’s Beach, before taking the road to Salines. This was once the most industrial area of the island and from here salt was exported to many islands throughout the Caribbean.

At Grand Fonds, you’ll have a wonderful view overlooking the green valley towards the raging ocean breaking on the shore. This is the windy part of the island and the landscape here is very different in comparison with the rest of St Barts. After your brief overview of the island, you’ll drive along the north coast and back to Gustavia.

After boarding your catamaran enjoy a short cruise to the popular snorkelling spot of ‘Les Petits Saints’, a small rock just south west of Gustavia. Sit back and relax on board, whilst the experienced crew organise the distribution of snorkeling equipment.

Following a safety briefing and instruction, you’ll have the opportunity to explore the rich underwater world of St Barts marine park. Immerse yourself in the crystal-clear waters and enjoy around 1 hour marveling at the amazing varieties of coral and fish.

Afterwards, sit back, relax and enjoy the sunshine as you cruise back along the coastline to Gustavia.

During your tour complimentary snacks, soft drinks and some delicious home-made rum punch will be served.

Step aboard the Yellow Submarine semi-submarine to discover the fascinating underwater world of St Barts. The vessel does not submerge; you descend into the hull to experience the view 5 feet below the water’s surface.

As you leave the harbour entrance, be sure to look out for the Green Turtles who make these waters their home. You’ll glide over the Marigan, a 50 foot island freighter, which famously sunk during hurricane ‘Luis’, before heading to the southern eastern edge of the St Barts Marine Park. Delight in the beautiful surroundings as you catch sight of the underwater marine life.

On your return back to Gustavia, enjoy the Yellow Submarine’s open deck, take in the beauty of the coastline and relax in the sun.
