A day to remember
There are few things more romantic than getting married in the middle of a perfect blue ocean. Plenty of passengers agreed last year and chose
P&O Cruises to celebrate their big day. In 2009, 124 couples tied the knot on board one of our largest ships, Ventura, and 17 spectacular on board weddings were held on our smallest ship Artemis.
Our Weddings at Sea experience allows lucky couples to celebrate the most special day of their lives in style and begin their honeymoon straight away on a romantic and unforgettable cruise.
The experience begins with champagne and flowers in your stateroom and continues with the dedicated services of a personal wedding coordinator. The private wedding ceremony will be conducted by the Captain (or Staff Captain in his absence) in one of our indoor wedding venues, which are able to accommodate all manner of wedding party sizes, large or small.
Whichever way an on board wedding is planned, one thing is for sure: it’ll be an occasion to remember forever. What better way to start married life? Wedding packages start from £1,050 (applicable until April 2011). For more details, visit www.pocruises.co.uk/wedding

Anticipating Adonia
Next June sees the introduction of our smallest ship to the fleet. Adonia is set to offer our most intimate cruise experience yet, and her smaller size means she will be taking passengers to a fantastic selection of destinations, including some that can not be reached by larger ships.
As well as sailing to a number of our classic destinations, including the culturally rich cities of Rome, Venice and Barcelona, she will also visit lesser-known ports, such as Georgetown in Guyana and Zadar in Croatia. She will also offer a combination of roundtrip and fly-cruises, giving passengers plenty of options when booking their holiday.
Highlights of Adonia’s maiden season include a special Christmas and New Year cruise to the Holy Land, taking in ports in Israel, Egypt and Libya, and her first world cruise, departing in January 2012, which will take passengers around South America. They’re sure to be unforgettable experiences.
