The Peninsular Restaurant

As a member of the P&O Cruises Peninsular Club loyalty programme, you’re rewarded with a whole host of benefits both on board and on shore. One such perk is the Peninsular Club Lunch for Ligurian, Baltic and Caribbean members. On cruises of eight nights or more, you’ll be invited to this special officer-hosted meal, held in the main dining restaurants across the fleet.

We’ve recently rolled out new menus for these lunches – one for Ligurian and Baltic tiers and one for the Caribbean tier – featuring the freshest flavours, most sumptuous ingredients and tantalising textures, sprinkled with a generous helping of passion and pride. We sincerely hope you enjoy every last mouthful.

Highlights of the Ligurian and Baltic tier menus include first courses such as roasted garlic and mushroom soup with sherry cream, while mains include a beef fillet with oxtail potato hash, sautéed bok choy, baby carrots and pumpkin purée. For dessert, dig into the likes of warm sticky toffee cake with tonka bean mousse and orange curd.

For Caribbean tier members, menu highlights include a starter of Thai spiced crab and sweet potato cake with rice noodle salad and sweet chili sauce, mains include a Dorset lamb rack with celeriac and potato gratin, braised shallots, fine beans and caper jus, and dessert offers sweet treats such as rhubarb cheesecake with strawberry compote and rhubarb sorbet.

Each menu includes clearly marked vegetarian, gluten-free and low-sugar options. Bon appétit!
