A great cruise on a smaller ship. Shame Adonia is going out of service.
A. Very good overall cruise, pity that Adonia is going out of service. P@O do not realise just how many customers like this size of ship, many customers will look at other cruise lines and their smaller ships in preference to the New super ships that age coming into service. BIG is not always better or more beautiful.

Dear Mr Archer

Thank you for your feedback.  It sounds like you had a wonderful time on board Adonia!   Please rest assured I have forwarded your "smaller ship" comments to the senior management team.

Best wishes

Nice friendly small ship. Good itinerary, pleasant company

Great way to celebrate Golden Wedding
Service was top class as usual. Food and entertainment brilliant. Good range of jewellery, some of which I had to buy. Men's clothes too large (4XL- extreme example)- probably due to stock reduction as ship being sold-sad. Crew - brilliant, both friendly and helpful. Some entertainment rather too loud- good singing doesn't need excessive volume. Disappointing that Wi-Fi is charged for - in most hotels free- why not on floating hotels? Many people do not need 24 hours internet- perhaps just 15 mins. here and there. Cabins and public areas were spotless. Arrangements and organisation of shore trips was very good, standard only dipping when some last minute notifications were not identified so well. We appreciated high standards of hygiene and security. Looking forward to another great P&O trip.

a great experience
the ship was great, clean well maintained. the whole crew did a fabulous job, we liked the fact that the captain was regularly seen around the vessel and that he regularly praised his staff. the food was excellent and well prepared, plenty of choice.

Uninterested ill trained staff in the entertainment section.
The staff on board did not know the ship and ports of call. There were ill trained staff on board, rude staff and inexperienced staff left in charge. There was very little entertainment during the day. I know this ship is being sold but I did not expect it to be so run down with staff who were not interested in the passengers. The food was not up to ships standard. The entertainment was bad. The only staff with any credible knowledge of their duties were our waiting staff table 17.

Adonia small, very friendly ship. Staff all efficient and friendly too. All upset to see it being sold to make way for larger vessel

First time cruisers with P&O and we were quite impressed.
The friendliness and service was excellent.

Improve entertainment and food quality. Ship about to leave P&O and lacked maintenance and everything appeared very tired - there was no WOW

A good farewell cruise on Adonia
The staff were brilliant, food of the highest order. The cabins are in need of some TLC, but they were clean and comfortable. Our waiters, Micky and Raghu were superb representatives of P&O and I wish them well. Farewell Adonia, you have provided much pleasure. I am unlikely to use the ultra-large ships in the future, having to confine any search to mid size.

Brilliant crew but shame about the fact it was obviously winding down
Cant fault the crew they are a so helpful and friendly. The food was really good. The ship was clean but tired. It was obvious they were winding down as some wines and beers ran out and the ice cream on deck and the biscotti biscuits with the coffee in costa.
