Cruise home from Dubai with numerous captivating cities on the way

Get your holiday off to a flying start and touch down in the futuristic desert-oasis city of Dubai. Vast sand dunes, man-made islands, lavish beach resorts, even an indoor ski slope; Dubai dazzles from every angle, especially the bustling gold souk, where you’ll need to haggle for a bargain. For a more peaceful view, see it all from the top of Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building.

Go dolphin spotting or simply relax on the serene beaches of Muscat before you cruise to Aqaba, Jordan. From there you can take a tour to the spectacular hidden city of Petra, with its unique rock-cut architecture in the slope of the Jebel al-Madhbah mountain. Next, enjoy some down time and stretch out on the golden beaches at Sharm el Sheikh, Egypt, or try snorkelling at a top-notch dive site in the Red Sea. Cruising the Suez Canal, you’ll be well on your way home, but there are still two fantastic ports to come.

In Naples, choose between town, countryside or beaches. Visit a rustic farmhouse to sample the wonderful local food, or see the city’s highlights on a guided bike tour. If that all sounds too strenuous, head to the Isle of Capri for glorious beaches and a taste of the high life.

If there’s one thing you must see in Seville (tours from Cadiz), it’s the Alcázar. Founded by Moorish Kings, it’s one of Europe’s most beautiful palaces and the oldest still in use. A tour will make you hungry, but good news; Seville is famous for tapas, with over 1,000 bars where you can tuck in.
