Feel like cooling off?
All of our ships boast outdoor pools of varying sizes – some even have retractable roofs for not so great weather. All are surrounded by sun loungers and chairs, with towels always available. Many offer waiter service bars and snack food – all served by friendly staff, so you don’t even need to move.
Feeling energetic?
If you feel the urge to burn off some calories, all of our ships feature state of the art gyms which are open to adults and teenagers. We also offer fitness classes, dance lessons and sports courts. Plus, if you fancy some fresh air, you can always partake in a few laps around the promenade deck where you will be joined by fellow joggers and walkers.
Feel like relaxing
You’ll feel your cares melt away as you relax in the on board spa that can be found on all of our ships. Each ship offers something very slightly different – Azura, for example offers a private outdoor terrace, whilst on Arcadia or Ventura you could enjoy a Thermal Suite. All ships offer a wide choice of spa treatments for men and women (and even couples) from trained beauty professionals.
If your idea of relaxing is more along the lines of watching live sport in the pub, then you’re well catered for too. Our ships show major sports events (satellite signal dependant) in selected bars and pubs on board.
Feel like a makeover?
You can make sure your hair and make-up are just right for that big gala night, or even try a new style thanks to the experts in the on board salon. Our spa team will look after your nails with the latest manicure and pedicure treatments, whilst also offering a full range of beauty treatments from waxing through to anti-aging treatments. They are also on hand to give skincare advice and run frequent talks offering tips and advice.
And men needn’t miss out either. Our on board barbers can give you a trim or a full haircut, and also offer a choice of shaves and treatments designed specifically for men.
Feel like letting your hair down?
Entertainment during the day and into the evening is in abundance on board. During the day, you could choose to catch the latest film in the cinema, attend a specialist talk from a guest lecturer, take part in a pub quiz or learn a new hobby. Evenings are when the ship really comes to life – West End style entertainment, dancing under the stars, a night in the casino or a romantic drink in one of the bars, accompanied by a pianist, all make for memorable evenings.
Feel like a dose of culture?
Perhaps you’ll learn ballroom, or attend a talk about some of the art that can be found in the on board gallery, or maybe you’ll enjoy one of our Classic FM Music Festivals at Sea. Off your ship, we offer shore excursions designed to allow you to fully experience each destination’s culture - from historic tours of Rome to multi-day landtours taking in the vineyards of Napa Valley in California.
Feel like a little shopping?
Even when you’re at sea, you can indulge in a little retail therapy. Our on board shops sell top name fashions for men and women, along with fine jewellery and fragrances – perfect for adding the final touch to your formal outfit. The shops also sell day-to-day items such as sun cream and toiletries, books and mementoes.
Or... you can try perfecting the art of doing absolutely nothing!
There’s certainly opportunity to do this. Whether it’s laying by one of the pools on board, or enjoying the peace of your balcony you’ll find countless spots on board where you can just sit and relax. And when ashore, you needn’t rush either – in many destinations we operate a shuttle bus to a local beach where you can while the hours away on the sand.
