Private messaging (PM)  

You can send a private message to any other member. The message is instant and cannot be seen by anybody else on the forum. Each members is allowed to store a maximum of 50 private messages.

  Sending private messages  
 

1. Choose the member you wish to send a private message. This can be done by clicking on 'Members' in the top menu bar (shown below), or by clicking on a member's name wherever you see it.


 

2. Click on the 'PM' button (shown below).

  
   
     
  3. You will then see the form below, which you should complete, before clicking 'Send Private Message'.

 
 

 
  Deleting private messages  
  You can delete private messages via your control panel. You will need to click on your private message inbox, and follow the steps below:

 
  How to delete a private message  
 
  • Tick the box of the message/s that you wish to delete.
  • In the drop-down box underneath the messages select 'move to deleted items

    • This will move the messages that you selected into the deleted items folder.
    Once the 'deleted items' folder is full you will need to empty it. This can be done by selecting 'Empty PM folders' in the 'Private Messages' menu, ticking which folders you wish to empty, and then clicking 'Empty selected' (shown below).
