Can I cancel my booking if I’m unable to provide satisfactory evidence?

We are unable to accept hand written quotes as these cannot be validated.&nbsp;

We will need to have received your quote within 24 hours of making your booking with us.

How long do I have to provide you with a cheaper quote?

If it has been accepted, you will receive a new booking confirmation with the adjusted price for your holiday within 48 hours of sending your information to us. Should we require further information, a member of our team will be in touch within 48 hours of receiving your evidence.

How will I know the outcome?

Unfortunately we are unable to accept quotes sent in the post.&nbsp; We require all quotes to be emailed in as we must receive them no later than 24 hours after your booking is made.&nbsp;

I am unable to email you the quote. Can I send my quote in the post?

Only as set out in our Booking Conditions. You will have up until 24 hours after you have booked to send in your cheaper quote and apply for Price Promise. Our Booking Conditions, including in relation to cancellation and deposit payments, will still apply once you have booked.&nbsp;

If I find this holiday cheaper after I have booked, can I cancel?

If this happens then your booking will cease to be eligible for Price Promise.

What happens if I am unable to provide proof within 24 hours?

If your holiday includes flights, we require the airport you are flying from shown on the quote.&nbsp;

What happens if my holiday includes flights?

We cannot offer Price Promise on holidays which include hotel/land packages as we do not provide these ourselves, making the required like for like comparison impossible.

What happens if my holiday includes hotels?

We require you to send in the cheaper quote within 24 hours of making your booking.

If your holiday includes flights, your quote must include the departure airport. Note that you are eligible for Price Promise on our flight inclusive product only, where P&amp;O Cruises are acting as the Tour Operator. If your booked flights are premium cabin flights, your quote must also include this (airline cabin grade).
If the match request is for premium air, the quote must stipulate this.

What proof do I need to send you to have my booking price reduced?

The price difference will be used to reduce the balance payable for your holiday and will not affect the deposit which has been paid. If you’ve already paid the balance of your holiday, note that you will have the option for a refund of the difference or for it to be allocated as a credit to your on board account.&nbsp;

What will happen when my quote has been accepted?

Refunds can take up to 10 working days to credit your account, depending on your card provider.

Here’s what your quote needs to include

Price Promise applies on all fare types on holidays booked directly with P&amp;O Cruises. You must provide evidence from a UK Travel Agent (with a valid ABTA Number) of a cheaper price within 24 hours of booking with us.&nbsp; You must be able to show that the fare quoted matches to the cruise you have booked with us and that the price has been quoted within 24 hours of that booking being made.&nbsp; The quote from the travel agent must include:&nbsp; 1.Same Ship &amp; Sailing date/Cruise Number; 2. Same Cabin Type &amp; Cabin Grade; 3. Same Fare Type; and 4. Time &amp; Date of Screenshot or Quote.&nbsp; In the case of holidays inclusive of flights booked directly with POC/Cunard, the flight must be like for like including same departure airport, airline, cabin class &amp; flight/route numbers.&nbsp; Price Promise only applies to holidays booked directly with POC/Cunard&nbsp; and does not apply to bookings made via travel agents or where POC/Cunard&nbsp; is not the tour operator selling the holiday or to holidays where an additional element, such as a land tour or hotel stay, has been added. You will be eligible for our Price Promise on our flight inclusive product&nbsp; only where POC/Cunard are acting as the Tour Operator. The evidence&nbsp; described above must be printed (not handwritten) and provided to email address pricepromise@pocruises.com on same day of booking or within a maximum 24 hours post booking. Quotes submitted by post will not be accepted. If the evidence submitted is accepted and approved for Price Promise, the difference will be used to reduce the balance payable for your holiday and will not affect the deposit that has been paid. If you’ve already paid the balance of your holiday, the difference will, at your option, either be refunded to your payment card or allocated as a credit to your on board account. How do I choose my cabin?

P&amp;O Cruises offers three different price types: Select Price, Early Saver and Saver. All include accommodation; dining in the main restaurants, buffet and pool-side venues; entertainment from dawn till dusk; swimming pools; children’s clubs; flights and transfers on fly-cruise holidays and lots more.
Select Price
This price gives you the most choice and flexibility.
• Choice of cabin location and first priority for upgrades (subject to availability)
• First priority for dining style on ships offering both freedom and Club Dining, and first priority for seating time and table size for Club Dining
• A choice of on-board spending money, car parking in Southampton or return coach travel to Southampton*
• Shuttle buses in port (where they are provided by P&amp;O Cruises)

Early Saver
Early Saver offers a great price but without the benefits of Select Price.&nbsp;

How does the pricing work?

The safety and security of our ships is paramount and, as such, you are prohibited from carrying certain items onto our vessels. 
Security screening of you and your baggage will be conducted each time you board the ship, and if you are found in possession of any of these items, they may be permanently confiscated.
This list is not exhaustive and any other items may be refused at the discretion of either the Port or Ship security staff.

<li>Any illegal narcotics/drugs including synthetic, designer drugs, and medical marijuana. While certain CBD products used for medicinal purposes may be legal in the US, THEY ARE not legal in all the ports we visit and therefore THESE ARE also considered prohibited items.

<li>Items brought on board the vessel and not supplied by the Company containing any kind of heating element, such as but not limited to: immersion heaters, heating blankets, flat irons, water heaters, coffee machines with heating / hot plates, etc.

So, whether you’re looking to dress up for a night of fine dining in a chic restaurant or grab a slice of poolside pizza, there’s so much to choose from – and so much is included in the price of your holiday.&nbsp;

What's the dining like on a cruise ship and how does it work?

During the day, you can dress in whatever you like. However, on all our ships, we have two dress codes that apply in the evenings: Evening Casual and Black Tie. Nights where the dress code is Evening Casual, you can bring out your best shirt, dress and smart, dark denim. For nights where the dress code is Black Tie, make sure to pack your best tux, suit or cocktail dress.
There are some venues on each ship where dress codes don’t apply, so make sure to check your Horizon paper that’s delivered to your cabin each day to check where these are, as they vary ship by ship.&nbsp;For those travelling on family-friendly cruises, dress codes also don’t apply to children aged 17 and under.&nbsp;

What's the dress code on board?

P&amp;O Cruises offers the very best in cruise entertainment. Days can be filled with as much or as little as you want, while evenings can be the social highlight.
There’s such a range of activities and entertainment taking place throughout the day, you’ll struggle to fit everything in – from dazzling performances from West End musicals in the ship's theatres to comedy and live music, piano recitals and tribute bands. And with cinema and film screenings, dance classes, pub quizzes, sports tournaments, cookery demonstrations and even special interest seminars, you’ll be spoilt for choice.
You’ll also find traditional card and table games, along with the latest slot machines in our casinos. And if you’re in the mood for dancing, head for one of our themed nightclubs, where the bars are well stocked with your favourite refreshments.
Of course, some days all you want to do is relax with a good book. No problem – you’ll find plenty of comfortable sun loungers outside and soft chairs inside.
