She may be smaller than other ships in size, but not in stature. Artemis exudes real charm. Every single one of her staterooms offers ocean views and her stylish interiors bring elegance and intimacy to a perfect balance of lively entertainment venues and peaceful retreats.

Artemis The Great Wall of China, China Burj al Arab, Dubai, UAE Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa

The unique camaraderie that she nurtures means that after just a few weeks on board, you’ll be firm friends with many other passengers.

Her farewell to Southampton in 2011 marks the start of her third grand voyage. Steering a course east, explore the shores of the Mediterranean, Middle East, India, Thailand, Vietnam, Japan and China, before returning via the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Seychelles, Mauritius and South Africa.

Video: The Artemis Asian Grand Voyage 2011With a total of 35 ports on your itinerary, each one will be a highlight in its own right. However, two in particular stand out - Hong Kong and Cape Town. Here, Artemis spends the night. With longer ashore, the grandeur of these spectacular cities can really be appreciated. In fact, Artemis visits Hong Kong on two separate occasions, providing even more time ashore to explore this island’s many attractions - including Victoria Peak, Stanley Market and Aberdeen Harbour.

Singapore is also a favourite with Artemis, she’ll call here on both her west-bound and east-bound legs.

In reality, every single step of this magical journey will offer unforgettable experiences. Ancient man-made wonders such as the Pyramids of Giza, the city of Petra and the Great Wall of China, plus striking monuments and temples in Thailand, Vietnam and Bali.

Then there are 21st century innovations including Dubai’s soaring skyscrapers and Singapore’s Esplanade arts complex alongside spectacular natural sights such as the towering limestone islands of Thailand, the beaches of the Seychelles and Cape Town’s Table Mountain. There’ll even be the chance to not only see, but hear, touch, taste and smell the frenetic streets of Mumbai, Tokyo, Beijing and Shanghai.
