Cruises for Solo Travellers

Your own cabin, a variety of activities and experiences and countless opportunities to meet other guests. There's so much to love cruising solo with us.

Why cruise by yourself?

Whether you’re looking to recharge your batteries or come away with a host of new friends, a solo cruise is a perfect holiday to take by yourself. Even at sea, no two days are the same. You’ll find complimentary activities to enjoy throughout your ship, including coffee mornings and drinks receptions specifically for solo travellers.

Your time on board

Once on board, you’ll find everything that makes a P&O Cruises holiday… friendly service, I-want-it-all menus, pools and spas, buzzing atriums, theatres and live music, endless ocean views.

Your accommodation

We offer single cabins, or if you'd like more space, we can offer a bigger room to make your travels extra special. When you stay in our cabins, you’ll have all the luxuries that are needed to make your solo travel a home away from home. There is also a room service menu for you to enjoy as you relax in your cabin. Along with a comfy bed, ample wardrobe space, a fully stocked chargeable mini-bar and an en-suite bathroom, all cabins come with a little magic in the form of your own cabin steward (and butler in Suites), to keep everything in ship shape.

Dine your way

Dining on a shared table with other cruise guests is an option (as is eating alone if you prefer). If you fancy a bite to eat in your cabin, you’ve a mouth-watering room service menu to choose from... meals, desserts, snacks and drinks, all prepared with care and delivered with a smile. From healthy to decadent, from hearty to delicate, there’s a menu and a venue for every mood. Keen to dress up for a meal in a chic setting? Prefer to pick up a freshly made snack while sunbathing by the pool? The choice is all yours.

There's so much to do

If you love to make friends while on board, we’re pleased to say guests travelling alone are welcome to join others for dining and all hosted activities such as workshops, and dance classes. Each of our ships features a casino, a theatre, live music, a fully equipped gym, and a choice of pools and whirlpools to use at your leisure. There’s even a library if you run out of reading material and our Oasis Spa if you feel like rejuvenating with an ocean-inspired treatment.

Solo travelling: A liberating experience.

Your time ashore

On port days you’ll be free to explore ashore independently, with other solo cruisers, or as part of an organised shore experience with a small group of your fellow P&O Cruises guests. You will make lots of new friends, with plenty of other solo cruisers to meet.
