Dubai fly-cruises 2019

From the modern city of Dubai, to calls in Bahrain and Oman, these 11-21 night fly-cruises combine winter sunshine, iconic skylines, desert dunes and atmospheric souqs to stunning effect.

Exotic climates beckon

Putting your mind at ease about this intriguing region

Flying to Dubai in under 8 hours, you can enjoy a winter holiday that has it all - sunshine, exotic locations, stunning beaches and the opportunity to discover the culture of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and beyond.

So, let’s sort the myths from the facts.

The average temperature during Oceana’s Dubai & Arabian Gulf season is 23 degrees, so a comfortable warmth.

Yes you can. Whilst drinking in public is not permitted, there is a bustling nightlife where alcohol is allowed in most of the hotels’ licensed bars and restaurants.

There’s so much more to the region. It’s historic and culturally rich with dramatic natural scenery – think mountains, nature treks, deep sea diving and even fjords!

Women do not need to be covered from head to toe but are asked to be respectful to the locals, i.e. no bare arms or legs when in a public place and a headscarf when in a holy site/place of worship. Beachwear is perfectly acceptable on most resort beaches.

If you are using prescribed medicines, it’s advised that you seek advice from the UAE London Embassy Department 0207 486 6281 prior to your arrival.

For travel to India, you’ll need to purchase your visa in advance. This can be done directly through the embassy or through P&O Cruises recommended agent, CIBT (ph 0207 620 6487), for an additional charge. India has recently made it possible to obtain an e-visa online for entry into three sea ports (Goa, Cochin, Mangalore), with Mumbai and Chennai to be added in the future. All information is based on British Citizen passport holders and is subject to change at any time.
