<h3>Accessibility</h3>
<p>Guests who have any additional needs that may present a health or safety risk to themselves or others must let us know of the needs at the time of booking and complete the ‘On-board needs’ questionnaire available on&nbsp;<a href="https://www.pocruises.com/accessibility">Accessibility on our cruises</a>&nbsp;after booking.</p>


<h3>Pre-existing medical requirements</h3>
<p>If you have any pre-existing medical requirements, we advise that you discuss your travel plans with your doctor.</p>
<p>Unfortunately, we are unable to accept guests who require haemodialysis. </p>
<p>Oxygen via tank or cylinder cannot be brought onboard without the prior written agreement of P&amp;O Cruises. If you are travelling with CPAP, an oxygen concentrator, mechanical ventilatory support or peritoneal dialysis, you should confirm your fitness to travel on your chosen itinerary with your primary health care provider. You must also have full travel insurance that covers you for all pre-existing health conditions. <h3>Medical cannabis</h3>
<p>Guests are not permitted to bring medical cannabis, CBD products, or other cannabis products on board, except in rare cases where we have given explicit permission for you to bring on board a specific medication prescribed to you by the NHS. While certain CBD products or THC products used for medicinal purposes may be legal in the US, they are not legal in all the ports we visit and are therefore considered prohibited items. Please discuss alternative options with your GP.</p>
<p>Due to security restrictions, we can only accept cannabis-based medications prescribed by the NHS, specifically Sativex and Epidiolex, on a case-by-case basis. This policy ensures we comply with international cannabis laws. At the time of booking, please advise us&nbsp;if you or someone in your travel party is taking Sativex or Epidiolex prescribed by the NHS. After booking, please contact our medical team directly by email&nbsp;(<u><a href="mailto:medical@carnivalukgroup.com">medical@carnivalukgroup.com</a></u>), including a doctor's letter detailing the prescription.&nbsp;</p>
<p>If your CBD or cannabis medication is prescribed by a private clinic, unfortunately, we cannot accept it onboard. Privately purchased CBD medications, oils, etc are also prohibited.</p>
<p>We kindly ask that you leave all prohibited items at home to ensure the safety of all our guests and staff on board. Security screening of you and your baggage will be conducted each time you board the ship, and if you are found in possession of a prohibited item, this will be confiscated at the port and we cannot guarantee the item will be returned to you.&nbsp;For further information regarding prohibited items, please read our&nbsp;<a title="Safety and security information" href="https://www.pocruises.com/essential-information/safety-and-security">Safety and Security page</a>.&nbsp;</p>


<h3>Travel insurance</h3>
<p>It's mandatory for all guests to have comprehensive cruise-specific travel insurance when you sail with us. Whilst we hope you never have to claim, the policy will ensure you're able to relax and enjoy your holiday knowing you're protected should you need it. When travelling with us, your insurance must include medical and repatriation cover of £2 million minimum and cover for emergency evacuations. You must also make sure your policy includes full cover for any and all pre‑existing medical conditions worldwide, or as a minimum, in the countries you are due to visit.</p>


<h3>COVID-19</h3>
<p>There are currently no COVID-19 vaccination or pre-cruise testing requirements for any P&amp;O Cruises sailings.</p>


<h3>Pregnancy</h3>
<p>You may only cruise if you have not entered the 24th week (that is more than 23 weeks + 1 day) of pregnancy at any time during the cruise. &nbsp;<br>

We strongly recommend that you consult with your midwife, obstetrician or General Practitioner (GP) prior to booking and before joining your cruise.&nbsp; If you and your baby are in good health,&nbsp;&nbsp;you are not aware of any reason you should not travel, are fit to travel and have valid travel insurance that covers pregnancy-related issues, you should take copies or have access to your latest medical or maternity reports, including the estimated date of delivery and the results of any ultrasound studies.&nbsp; &nbsp;<br>
