Our new summer 2021 and winter 2021/2022 holiday collection – our biggest ever – is packed with exploration, adventure and discovery. From showstoppers to hidden gems, here are seven highlights sure to inspire your wanderlust.

We’ve recently launched our biggest holiday collection ever: more than 400 cruises visiting 186 unique ports in 68 different countries. With so much to look forward to, where do you begin? Here, we’ve highlighted seven can’t-miss experiences across the fleet. Happy travels!

1. Get colourful in Canada

Red, yellow, orange, green – eastern Canada is a kaleidoscope of colours in the autumn months. Bask in the brilliant hues on Arcadia’s 24 night Canada cruise in September and October. The natural wonders of Saguenay and Gaspé will take your breath away – you might even spot whales swimming in the St Lawrence River. For a dose of urban life, an overnight call to Quebec gives you the chance to explore after dark, while St John’s is sure to please with its infectious energy (and a charming local accent to boot).

2. Soak up the warmth of the Adriatic

With its intoxicating blend of natural beauty and compelling culture, the central Mediterranean never fails to make a good impression. Explore it in summer 2021 on a Mediterranean fly-cruise on Azura. Starting from the home port of Malta, you’ll head for the sparkling waters of the Adriatic with stops in dazzling destinations such as Dubrovnik, Zadar and Split in Croatia; Kotor in Montenegro; Trieste, on the Italian border with Slovenia, for tours to Venice; and Kusadasi in Turkey, from which you can visit the ancient City of Ephesus.

3. Embrace the rhythms of the Caribbean

The moment you step ashore and order your first rum punch, or climb aboard a catamaran, snorkel and goggles in hand, or sit waiting for a plate of sizzling, fiery jerk chicken to arrive at your table, you’ll be hooked by the Caribbean’s charm. Britannia will spend winter 2021/2022 in this sun-soaked region, bringing you on an island-hopping adventure on a season of fly-cruises. Bask in the sunshine on a sun-washed beach, snorkel amid brightly coloured coral reefs, visit homesteads with flower-filled gardens, or simply soak up the laidback charms of these treasure islands.

4. Spend Christmas in the Canary Islands

Make 2021 the year you start a new Christmas tradition. On Ventura’s 12-night Christmas cruise to Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands, you’ll visit the sunny shores of Madeira, La Palma, Gran Canaria, Lanzarote and Lisbon. Christmas Day itself is spent at sea, where Ventura will be decorated in all the festive bells and whistles. Sing along to Christmas carols, tuck into a heavenly turkey dinner with all the trimmings (cracker hats optional) and tune in for the Queen’s speech. Still full of Yuletide cheer? Hit the dance floor and keep the good times going into Boxing Day.

5. Breathe in the fresh air in the Fjords

If you’re in need of an escape from the pace of city life, follow the waves to a place where the day-to-day melts away. The Norwegian Fjords offer some of the most spectacular natural scenery on Earth, from towering cliffs to crystal-clear waters. Iona is the perfect ship from which to embrace the beauty of the Fjords: her glass-roofed SkyDome and Grand Atrium with triple-height windows bring the outside in. Iona will make stops in destinations such as Stavanger, Olden, Geiranger, Haugesund and Ålesund, giving you plenty of chances to explore ashore.

6. Discover something new close to home

Whether you’re testing the waters of a cruise holiday or simply want a well-deserved long weekend away, a Short Break is just the ticket. Oceana embarks on two-night holidays to Guernsey in summer 2021, bringing you to the capital of St Peter Port. The best way to see the island is on foot or by bike – start with the tranquil lanes of the Ruettes, then stop by Castle Cornet for a dose of history. Don’t miss the Little Chapel: the remarkable life’s work of a French monk, it’s thought to be Europe’s smallest chapel.

Cruise along America’s sun-kissed west coast, stopping in San Francisco to explore the city’s steep streets, buzzing art scene and eclectic cuisine. Hawaii delivers surf ‘n turf and swaying tropical rhythms. Two full days in Tokyo gives you the chance to immerse yourself in one of the most exciting cities on Earth, day and night. This is more than a holiday – it’s the ultimate travel experience.
