Approximately 1.30 hours.
Cartagena was settled in the 3rd century by the Carthaginians, has flourished under Roman, Muslim and Arab rule and offers a vast cultural legacy of thousands of years. Hop aboard a trolley train to take in the stunning views of Cartagena Bay at Parque Torres, admire the Conception Castle and one of the city's most surprising archaeological finds – the Roman Theatre. Its discovery (only in the 1980s) confirmed Cartagena's importance in the history of Ancient Hispania. Explore the city centre and take in the main monuments, including the Naval Museum and Arsenal, before relaxing in Town Hall Square over a drink.
