Betancuria and the Caves of Ajuy
GBP34.0 Per Person
Approximately 4.00 hours.
Visit the remote, pretty fishing village of Ajuy on the island's west coast and enjoy the dramatic views, black sandy beach and high-rising cliffs on either side. Take a stroll on the coastal path along the clifftops to the spectacular Ajuy caves and climb down the steps to explore them from the inside. Travel to nearby Betancuria, the first capital of the island and one of the oldest towns in the Canary Islands, and explore the streets with their traditional Canarian architecture. There's still time to do some souvenir shopping or relax in a café and admire the mountain views.
