Hop on your boat and embark on a scenic sail along the 33km-long Hjørundfjord – regarded as one of the country’s most magnificent waterways.
Relax and enjoy being surrounded by an idyllic natural setting. Gaze up at the craggy mountains that rise all around you, some to heights of 5,000 feet above sea level, and admire the emerald lower slopes dotted with wildflowers. Spot the alpine farms clinging to the hillsides and keep an eye out for local marine life.
During your cruise, refreshments of tea, coffee and delicious pastries will be served. Continue to soak up the awe-inspiring sights as you journey through Vegsundet and Borgundfjord on your way back to Ålesund, where you’ll take a short walk to your ship.

Essential information
There is limited walking on this tour; however, in the event of a change of berth, there may be a 200-metre walk to reach the boat, as well as a bridge to negotiate that includes steps. Guests must be able to negotiate the gangway to board the boat, which may be steep. There are 12 steps to reach the outside deck on the boat. Whilst there are sufficient seats for everyone on the boat, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to sit in the area of your choice. There is no seating available on the open deck.
