Walk through the colourful streets of modern Ålesund with a friendly guide dressed in Viking style and hear entertaining tales from local legends and Viking sagas. Hop aboard a real Viking ship floating in the Brosundet channel, and tuck into hearty Viking-inspired bites and try Viking beer (home-brewed, no-alcohol ale). Along the way, you’ll make regular stops for photos and fun, soaking up the culture and charm. Your journey ends at the striking statue of Rollo – the outlaw who became the ancestor of European royalty. Afterwards, take some free time to head up to Fjellstua or keep exploring the city.

There is approximately 1½ hours of walking, including some steep inclines. Comfortable enclosed walking shoes and a jacket are recommended. This tour does not include a boat cruise; the Viking Longship is alongside and will not leave the harbour.
