Whether you’re a mega-fan or you’ve never seen the hit TV show before, there’s plenty to wow you on this adventure. As you delve into the countryside, your local guide will regale you with tales of the Seven Kingdoms and point out the locations that backdropped scenes set north of The Wall in GOT’s third season.
Admire the majestic Godafoss waterfall and soak up the serenity in Kálfastrandavogar, the area used as the Haunted Forest in the show. You might recognise the site where Mance Rayder set up his camp as you explore Dimmuborgir – an atmospheric labyrinth of lava pillars, arches and grottos.
Feel the warmth (and the love!) as you step inside Grjótagjá, a small lava cava containing a thermal spring where Jon Snow and Ygritte began their affair. At Námaskarð, gaze out across the spellbinding geothermal field and picture the Battle of the First Men raging before you.

Essential information
There is approximately one hour of walking on this tour, as well as a few steps to negotiate. This tour visits locations, not film sets; all locations are returned to their original state after filming. Dress according to local weather conditions with good footwear, closed-toe recommended with a rubber or non-slip sole. The running order of visited sites might vary and run in a reverse order if considered necessary; this could be down to local traffic conditions or to avoid congestion at the main sites. A small snack pack is included and consists of a sandwich, juice box, and Icelandic chocolate. This tour is approximately 7 hours long, and guests may want to bring additional snacks and a bottle of water. There will be a rest stop to use the facilities on the way back to the ship.
