Alta Husky Adventure

On arrival at the Husky Centre, you’ll be greeted by the friendly, excited dogs, as well as your experienced driver, before boarding your allocated sledge and embarking on your husky adventure.  Relax on the comfortable reindeer skins and admire the breathtaking beauty of the surrounding landscape as your driver negotiates their way through the scenic terrain. The panorama will vary from vast white fields to snow-topped trees and frozen rivers.

After the excitement of your journey, you’ll have the chance to relax and share your experience with your fellow passengers in a cosy ‘Lavvu’ (Sámi tent). Here you can enjoy hot drinks and the warmth of a roaring log fire, whilst your host shares their stories and tales, talks about their daily life and explains how the dogs are trained for the Finnmarksløpet - Europe’s longest dog race covering 621 miles.
