Sámi Camp and Reindeer Sledging

Enjoy a relaxing dash through enchanting snow-covered scenery to the Maze Sámi Camp. After a warm greeting by your traditionally dresses Sámi host, you’ll be welcomed into their cosy ‘Lavvu’. This traditional tent is their home, while migrating to various parts of the country with their reindeer. Settle onto comfortable reindeer skins around a roaring camp fire, and enjoy a coffee and homemade cake. Listen to ‘joik’ (Sámi song), learn about the Sámi culture and discover the importance of reindeer to the Sámi. Then hop onto a reindeer-pulled sledge for a leisurely ride through the dazzling scenery surrounding the Sámi camp.
