Enjoy the sights along one of Cephalonia’s most beautiful driving routes, which takes you to Assos Peninsula. Then spend some free time in Assos and Fiskardo. Both villages survived the 1953 earthquake and are filled with Venetian architecture. Jewel-like Assos sits at the foot of a hill, on a small peninsula surrounded by the stunning blue Mediterranean, and is home to 16th-century-castle ruins. The charming little port of Fiskardo is packed with fishing boats, whitewashed shops, traditional tavernas, and more. On your way back, make a photo stop at Myrtos Beach, hailed as one of the world’s most beautiful.
