Experience Details*
Take in the majestic Acadia National Park along the Loop Road, one of the most scenic drives on the east coast. Mountains, lush greenery, and the boom of crashing waves are just some of the treats in store. Passing Jordan Pond House, Thunder Hole and Otter Cliff, you’ll climb Cadillac Mountain. At 466 metres (the highest point along the North Atlantic seaboard), there are sublime views (weather permitting) of Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. There's rugged coastline to admire on Ocean Path before the gentler sights of Bar Harbour – anchored yachts, lobster boats and quaint Victorian architecture.

Essential information
This tour involves limited walking mainly at guests' discretion; however guests must be able to negotiate steps on to and off the coach. Most of the surfaces are paved but some areas are uneven and can be slippery when wet. Due to park conservation and visitor number restrictions a stop at the top of Cadillac Mountain will be made if possible, but cannot be guaranteed. Weather conditions on the day may affect the views and the route taken. Guests are advised to take a jacket or jumper as it can feel cooler in the higher ground areas of the park.
