Belize City by Trolley Train
Belize
low
1:15 Hour
Discover Belize City's colourful past on board an open-air trolley train. Your first stop is the Baron Bliss Lighthouse, built for one of the country's greatest benefactors, who is buried near its base. The city was once the capital of the former British Honduras and has many fine examples of grand colonial architecture, including St John's Cathedral, the first Anglican church in Central America, built by slaves in 1812 using ships’ ballast.
Cross the famous Swing Bridge over Haulover Creek, where the waterway is lined with charming fishing boats, before pausing at Memorial Park, which honours fallen First World War soldiers.
