Keen to get active and take in the sights?

Enjoy a brief tour of Bornholm’s capital, Rønne, before you set off for a scenic cycle ride. Your local guide will show the way along the old railway line and narrow forest paths as you make your way to Nyker.

In this tiny town, you’ll have the chance to visit the smallest of the island’s four round churches. Built approximately 800 years ago, it’s believed these special structures served as fortifications as well as places of worship.

Ride through open fields and onto the rugged coast to take a break in the town of Hasle. Here you’ll receive a warm welcome at an ancient smokehouse, where you can find out about the techniques used to preserve fish. Try some smoked herring with rye bread and butter and wash it down with a local beer.

Feeling recharged, it’s time to hop back on the bike for the last leg of your journey. Join the car-free cycle route that runs through the forest and follow it all the way back to Rønne.
