Experience Details*
Stretch your legs and wet your whistle in the small, pretty capital of Bornholm.
Smell the fruit trees and lilac while strolling through the cobbled streets of Rønne. Your guide will regale you with intriguing stories about this lovely town, which dates back to the 13th century, as you wander past the timber houses whose windows are beautifully decorated with porcelain figures and handmade glass. Find out about the rich local heritage and pause to admire St Nicolas’ Church as well as Rønne Theatre, built in 1823.
Looping back to the harbour, you’ll be invited inside the Small Batch brewery to find out how the passionate owners create their amber nectar. The beer is renowned for its excellent flavour. But don’t take our word for it – taste a few varieties before deciding whether you want to take the short walk back to your ship or explore Rønne on your own.
