On arrival in Jerez, enjoy a panoramic drive past the city’s elegant squares and historic landmarks before setting out on foot to explore the impressive 12th‑century Moorish Alcázar, a striking fortress steeped in history. You’ll also see the Cathedral of Jerez and the lively Plaza del Arenal, before enjoying some free time to relax or perhaps sample a glass of the region’s famous sherry.
Back in Cádiz, meet your guide at the pier and set off on a guided walking tour of what is widely regarded as Europe’s oldest city, founded over 3,000 years ago. As you stroll through the atmospheric historic quarter, you’ll pass the Town Hall, admire the magnificent Cathedral, and wander through the colourful Plaza de las Flores, famous for its flower stalls. Some free time allows you to enjoy a refreshing drink or browse for local souvenirs before returning to the ship.
