Relax on the panoramic drive along the picturesque coast of Cádiz province, passing by the whitewashed hilltop village of Vejer de la Frontera. From the pretty old fishing town of Barbate, begin your hike into the La Breña National Park.
Admire the varied surroundings of pine forests, sand dunes, marshes and the golden Atlantic beaches and marvel at landmarks such as the 16th century Torre del Tajo watchtower and Los Caños de Meca – the last ‘hippy colony’ on the Costa de la Luz.
Towards the end of your hike you’ll stroll on the beach to Cape Trafalgar. Take photos of the famous lighthouse and recharge with a cooling drink and a tasty snack at a local bar.
