Experience Details*

European and African cultures meet in Ceuta, a small Spanish city on the coast of Morocco. Take a leisurely drive towards Benzú, a typical Moroccan settlement that is now part of the enclave, pausing to admire Dead Woman Mountain, so called because it resembles a supine woman. Back in the city, pass the imposing 5th-century Royal Walls and the Plaza de Africa, a pretty square with a memorial to soldiers lost in the Spanish-Moroccan War. When you head into the hills, you’ll be treated to spectacular views over the Strait of Gibraltar and the Hermitage of San Antonio on Monte Hacho.
