Hike through amazing seascapes highlighted by the Albania coast, and visit the home of writer Lawrence Durrell.
Starting at Nissaki Beach, a coastal path will take you from one small bay to the next. You’ll pass through fields and olive forests, and a collection of picturesque coastal villages, including Agni, Kalami and Kouloura. The sea and coastal views are incredible, with Agioi Saranda lying only three kilometres away on the coast of Albania. Visit the White House where the Nobel-awarded British writer Lawrence Durrell once lived. Countless highlights include a seaside chapel, picturesque harbours and Venetian castle ruins, now home to the ‘boss’ of Fiat. In Kalami, enjoy delicious meze and wine in a local tavern.

Essential information
Pregnant women and guests with back/neck problems should not select this tour. Guests must be the legal age of 18 to consume alcohol.
Please note that guests must be able to walk approximately two and a half hours over even and uneven surfaces, inclines, and 150 steps. There are steps and stairs to negotiate. Flat suitable non-slip hiking shoes are recommended. This tour is weather dependable as the walking tour from Nissaki to Kalami Village cannot be operated if it is raining on or the day before due to the ground being inaccessible.
This excursion does not include a guided tour of the town. Due to parking restrictions and narrow road at Kalami village, there will be, a short walk from the Kalami Village to the bus parking area.
You will need to take Euros to purchase refreshments. For guests who wish to swim, they are advised to wear swimwear under their clothes and take sun protection, a towel and bottled water with them. Swimming is undertaken at guests own risk and must be competant swimmers. Please note that the island gets very busy during the summer months (July and August) and a lot of venues and beach are crowded. This excursion does not include a guided tour of the town.
