Coastal Hike & Lawrence Durrell

Hike through amazing seascapes highlighted by the Albania coast, and visit the home of writer Lawrence Durrell.

Starting at Nissaki Beach, a coastal path will take you from one small bay to the next. You’ll pass through fields and olive forests, and a collection of picturesque coastal villages, including Agni, Kalami and Kouloura. The sea and coastal views are incredible, with Agioi Saranda lying only three kilometres away on the coast of Albania. Visit the White House where the Nobel-awarded British writer Lawrence Durrell once lived. Countless highlights include a seaside chapel, picturesque harbours and Venetian castle ruins, now home to the ‘boss’ of Fiat. In Kalami, enjoy delicious meze and wine in a local tavern.
