Weave your way up to the beautiful village of Paleokastritsa Main Bay nestling in a coastline of hills and promontories, draped in olive, cypress and lemon trees. Suspended over the Ionian Sea is the Monastery of the Virgin Mary. Surrounded by ancient olive groves and verdant vineyards is the Ambelonas Winery. Follow the production processes before sampling some wine.
Corfu Town is a bustling, elegant town that combines the ambience of medieval and modern. Here, you’ll have free time to explore at your own leisure. Perhaps visit the Church of Spyridon or browse the local shops, before re-joining your guide and coach for the return to the pier.

Essential information
Respectful attire must be worn when entering religious buildings, ladies must have their shoulders and knees covered and shorts are not permitted. Flash photography and filming are not permitted inside religious buildings. Local guides are not permitted to guide inside the church and guests will enter and explore on their own.
Please remember to take local currency for purchases. Please note that shops at Paleokastritsa are closed in October and November. The town of Corfu will be explored on foot. This tour involves moderate walking over varying terrain, including steps. Lightweight clothing and flat, comfortable shoes are recommended. Please note that the island gets very busy during the summer months (July and August) and a lot of venues are crowded. Tour sequence may vary.
