Experience Details*
Enjoy a scenic stroll around Corfu's atmospheric Campiello (Old Town) before discovering the spectacular caves off the coast of Paleokastritsa. A UNESCO World Heritage Centre, much of the Campiello's finest architecture is a legacy of the Venetians, who ruled here for four centuries. It's a labyrinth of winding alleyways, secret squares and steep stairways, opening up into the elegant Spianada (Esplanade). Then it's a short drive to the village of Paleokastritsa, known for its beautiful bays and dramatic rock formations. Hop on board a small boat to explore the mysterious and scintillating sea grottos of Nafsika, St Nicholas and Blue Eye.

Essential information
The small boats vary in capacity from 10 to 25 seats. The boat ride is weather dependent and may be cancelled on the day. If this occurs the time will be substituted at Paleokastritsa or Corfu Old Town. A degree of agility is required when boarding the boat as you will need to step between the boat and the quayside. The boats are regulated and must be filled as they are lined up, before moving to the next one. The boat ride is around 30 minutes and not guided. The boats cannot enter the caves for safety reasons.
There is approximately one hour of walking over flat terrain, uneven and cobblestone surfaces and inclines, with a few steps to negotiate to get on/off the coach and embark/disembark the boat, and several steps at Paleokastritsa and Corfu Town. For those wishing to spend the free time in Paleokastritsa at the beach, please remember your swimwear, a towel and sun protection. Beach umbrellas and sunbeds are available for rent on first-come, first-serve basis and the availability is not guaranteed. Please remember local currency for purchases. Shops at Paleokastritsa are closed in October and November.
This tour is not suitable for guests who suffer from vertigo, guests prone to motion sickness, guests with limited mobility and guests who utilise a wheelchair. There is a maximum weight of 95kg for this tour. Please note that the island gets very busy during the summer months (July and August) and a lot of venues and beaches are crowded. Tour sequence may vary.
